Job Description:

Zoho is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer with 0 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai. In this role, you will analyze, design, develop, and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into Zoho’s products and services, ensuring high performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python or Java.
Collaborate with data engineers to preprocess and manage large datasets.
Implement machine learning operations (MLOps) to streamline model deployment and monitoring.
Research advanced machine learning algorithms and techniques.
Communicate findings and present results effectively to team members and stakeholders.
Maintain and optimize existing machine learning systems for better performance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate new technologies into projects.

Qualifications Required:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python or Java with strong logical programming skills.
- Solid understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Knowledge of probability, statistics, transformers, deep learning algorithms, and machine learning techniques.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Spark, Hive, Hadoop, and Kafka.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems.
Experience:
- 0-4 years of experience in software development, machine learning, or data engineering.
- Experience managing Active Directory accounts is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong mathematical and numeracy skills.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills to present complex data insights.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Good to Have:
- Specializations in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Image Processing, Recommender Systems, Reinforcement Learning, or Generative AI.
- Experience with statistical modeling, pattern mining, and large language models (LLMs).
- Proficiency in additional programming languages such as C, C++, or Scala.
