About the Role

The Trust and Safety team at YouTube works to keep the platform safe for creators, viewers, and communities worldwide. As a Content Specialist, you will review escalated and questionable video content, enforce YouTube’s Community Guidelines, and ensure policy compliance. You will handle sensitive and potentially graphic content, manage escalations, and collaborate with teams to improve enforcement processes.

Key Responsibilities

Review video content that may include controversial or graphic material in line with YouTube’s guidelines
Enforce content policies to maintain a safe platform experience
Manage escalations related to content policy issues
Provide insights to improve policy enforcement operations

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience in problem solving, review, or digital content assessment
Proficiency in data analysis and spreadsheet tools

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of international issues such as freedom of expression and online safety
Experience with SQL, content policy, and identifying abuse trends
Strong business judgment, communication, and investigative skills
Ability to work with sensitive material and meet deadlines
