Role Overview: Associate Systems Engineer
This role sits within IBM Consulting’s Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where you’ll use your deep technical and industry expertise to design, code, test, and support software applications. These applications enable clients to hybrid cloud and AI journeys, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to ensure high performance, availability, and maintainability. As an Associate Systems Engineer (Software Developer), you’ll collaborate with architects, technical leaders, and stakeholders to identify and implement creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development Lifecycle: Participate in design, code implementation, testing, and support, ensuring software quality and performance.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Investigate and propose improvements to existing systems, supported by architects and technical leaders.
- Comprehensive Process Engagement: Involve yourself in each phase: design, development, testing, release, and troubleshooting while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders, analyze current landscapes, and code innovative solutions that drive business value.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BE/BTech/ME/MTech/Dual Degree/MSc/MCA) in CS/IT or related circuit branches.
- Must have completed a degree with a minimum 6.0 CGPA or 60% (all subjects included, including electives).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python, Node.js).
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
