About the Team

The Shopping Experience Protection Operations team works towards building trust with Amazon’s global ecosystem of customers, brands, vendors, sellers, and employees. The team leverages technology, analytics, and science to eliminate risks in e-commerce, ensuring safe and secure transactions while keeping operations scalable and efficient.

As an Investigation Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying and addressing potential risks in the online marketplace. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions independently.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate and evaluate seller transactions to identify potential risks.
Take action on suspicious or fraudulent activities based on standard operating procedures.
Document all actions with detailed annotations.
Communicate with internal and external customers via phone, email, and other channels.
Escalate issues to relevant teams when necessary.
Analyze performance metrics and contribute to achieving business goals.
Maintain productivity and quality standards consistently.

Basic Qualifications

Graduated in any discipline.
0 to 5 years of work experience.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to interpret and handle large sets of data.
Strong team player with adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in risk analysis, compliance, or operations is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and productively.
Excellent attention to detail with decision-making accuracy.

Additional Information

Shifts: Rotational (24×7 environment, changes every 3-4 months).
Weekly Offs: Rotational, two consecutive days off (not necessarily Saturday and Sunday).
Type: Seasonal contract role (FTC).
