Income Tax India Recruitment 2024: Apply for Senior & Private Secretary Roles

The Income Tax Department of India has announced vacancies for Senior Private Secretary and Private Secretary positions in its Appellate Tribunal. This is a great opportunity for Indian nationals with the required qualifications and skills to secure a government job.

Vacancy Details

Senior Private Secretary
- Pay Scale: ₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100 (Level-8)
Private Secretary
- Pay Scale: ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 (Level-7)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
- A degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.
Skill Requirements
- Shorthand speed of 120 words per minute in English.
- Working knowledge of computers and software like MS Office, Excel, or PageMaker.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 to 35 years. Age relaxation applies as per government rules.

Documents Required

Applicants need to submit self-attested copies of the following documents:

Proof of Date of Birth (Matriculation certificate).
Graduation degree.
English Shorthand Certificate (120 w.p.m.).
Caste certificate for SC/ST or Non-Creamy Layer certificate for OBC.
EWS certificate (if applicable).
Disability certificate (for PWD candidates).
Recent passport-sized photographs (3 copies, with a signed photograph on the form).
